I am using an Aoson S100 smartphone. The phone is with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. I have the phone since July, but for the past week it has a strange bug:
The Android automatically restarts when i try to set a new alarm clock. When I choose a default alarm, the phone restarts by itself again when the time comes for the alarm to set off...
I read in some threads about alam clock issues with Android 2.3.4 and they all advised for a Factory reset to be initiated. Yet, I am a total noob on using such old versions of Android and I don't want to lose all my stuff and contacts from the smartphone.

Could you please give me an advice, how to repair my alarm clock function, without initiating a Factory reset?
