I am new to Android forum and I was wondering. The Android platform has been out since 2009 and has had a major upgrade until Ice Cream Sandwich which came out in in Oct 2011. What are the future plans for updates? Any roadmap that Google has published on when we can see an upgrade to Android 5? I am also a bit concerned about the adoption rate of Ice Cream Sandwich.

Can anyone elaborate?

Thanks.

There are rumors that Google is going to unvail Android 5(Jelly Bean) at the Google I/O at the end of June. But if I look at ICS it will take the newest Phones months(if ever) to update to JellyBean.
