Status bar problem

So ever since I got the update for jellybean on my samsung strat 2 the status bar has been acting weird. The notifications still appear on the left but sometimes theres a space between the icons and the edge of the screen like another icon should be there but its not. Anyone else having this problem?

A factory reset may solve the issue. Also, can you take a screenshot of the problem?

Check out my status bar.. appears to have a little space between the edge of the screen and where my email icon appears..or is this normal?

Overall, those gaps are a great waste of limited status bar space for notification icons. Plus, wondering why this appears on almost every ROM I've used.
