I have a ZTE Blade V which runs on Android version 4.1.2 which I believe comes under Jellybean (?). Yesterday I went to open the camera only for a message to appear saying "can't connect to camera". ZTE recommended restoring the phone to factory settings. This didn't work (very annoying). I have been reading round on the web and noticed a post on this forum saying to force stop the camera, clear the cache, clear the data then restart. This doesn't work. Installing a third party camera app doesn't work either that just says it can't open. I have also read that Google will be releasing an update soon but will this apply to this version of Android? Are there any other things I could try?
Thanks and apologies if this has been posted in the wrong place but unsurprisingly I couldn't find a specific area for ZTE's (the mystery phone brand lol)!
