Where did my pretty, colorful icons go? Why am I stuck with black and white? Ewww!!! Please bring them back. I may be black and white in my opinions, but I'm a very colorful person. If there's a way to get them back, please help!!!

You could root and install a custom ROM and/or theme.

The worst is all the shortcuts looking the same so when you have them in folders they are identical. The grayed out gear.

Have considered doing so, but scared to death my middle-brained, limited "geekiness" will brick my phone, and can't afford to buy a new one. :/ Maybe when eligible for an upgrade. In the mean time, I feel like it lost its "Beauty" and we got downgraded. Not fair at all. The sparkles on the unlock screen have been replaced by plain circles. The icons are white. Haven't run across any SD card issues, yet. The wake up function, yes. But the biggest, saddest, aggrivation is the missing colors. It ticks me off every time I look at it.

And yes. I'm pouting. Big time.
