Default Swype 1.60 better then 2.2?? i think so

While the new swype was released recently, ive found out that the old swype 1.60 is way better in terms of usability, less suggestive word boxes popping up and less type errors...

anyone else feel the same way?

I think so. I think swype will not be made for the public and will only be available on new devices.

Anyone who has ANY issues, try to go back to 1.60, its seriously error free.

ill have maybe 5 errors in 2.2 and 1 in 1.6....

I actually find the latest version much better.

Initially, I too thought the new version took a performance hit. But then I noted that my speed/accuracy settings etc.. didn't look the same. I tweaked the sliders a bit (mainly the accuracy setting I moved a bit to the right), and I found I was swyping just as well (if not better) as before.
