I have an ATT Note 4 and a 2015 Chevy Silverado with the Chevy MyLink 8" screen, I was wondering if Android Auto is supported by my phone and vehicle or will be supported in the future. I have been looking all over the internet and some sites say that 2015 Silverado trucks will support it and some say the 2016 models will. Also I haven't seen anywhere that says specifically which models of phones support Android Auto, just have seen that the S5 and S6 already support it, nothing about the Note.

Thanks in advance!!

From what I understand... your phone has to be running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher in order to use Android Auto. So if your phone has been updated to Lollipop it should support Android Auto.

As far as your vehicle, I don't believe any GM vehicles support it yet... at least I cannot find any information on it. It's hard to say if any current MyLink systems will be able to be updated to support Android Auto. I did read in the link below that 14 Chevrolet models will soon support Android Auto.

GM rolls out CarPlay, Android Auto across 14 models
