what can i do with a brand new samsung galaxy note 4 with android 4?

i found a sealed LTE model of "samsung galaxy note 4" at the phone store, it runs android 4 and i was wondering if i can install a modern browser to it, like kiwibrowser....etc that still supports android 4, and then use it to browse ebay listings, or use it for carousell meetups? someone stole my lenovo m10 when i looked away for 5 minutes, so i'm thinking of just getting a cheap pad that i won't have to worried about losing outside.

I doubt that phone will even support the modern Play Store. You could look into flashing a custom ROM based on a more recent version of Android -- check the forums at XDA-Developers.com for that.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend using it, even if you did install a custom ROM, because there would still be significant security flaws that have not been patched.

I'm not aware of any browsers which still get updates on Android 4 (Kiwi Browser requires Android 7+). I know of some browsers which still get updates on Android 5, if you can get the phone upgraded to that. However, even Android 5 would be extremely limited in what apps can be run.

However, there is good news. According to Mohammed Huwais's article "List of Best Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy Note 4": The Note 4 can be upgraded to Android 11 (via custom ROM).
