The real successor to the G1 is?

For me I believe will be the Droid 2. Keyboard, bigger screen, 2.1(with 2.2 not far behind), 3.5m earphone jack, 8gig internal memory +sd card slot, to me I think better than the Slide if you want a keyboard(even though I have not tried either) 5 mp camera.
What about you guys, agree or disagree?

i wouldn't call the Droid 2 (or even the original droid) the G1 successor. i would figure the My Touch Slide would be the closest thing to the successor because it has the keyboad as well as it is made by HTC. The Droid and Droid 2 are great alternatives though. i just like that if you want to get an Android phone, you have so many alternatives to choose from

I'd say the Nexus One actually I'd like to buy a G1 and use on AT&T.

Well the G1 was by HTC and I think the only other keyboard Android phone they have released since has been the MT3G slide so I guess that is as close as you will get. But the Droid and soon to be released Droid 2 are both good alternatives if you want a keyboard.
