All browsers get web pages rerouted to "WARNING: 3 VIRUS DETECTED" or porn page

Starting this morning, my phone is unable to browse the internet due to these rerouting of pages to xtrackapi.com and some adult sites. I have tried clearing the cache/data from the settings for chrome and have even done a factory reset The problem still exists. I've tried several anti malware programs (currently running a scan with malwarebytes) and these haven't worked either. Any advice?

I am having the same issue, mine started over a week ago. It's hit 2 Samsung Galaxy phones, and now my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The only thing it hasn't touched was my Ipad. Go figure. Would love to know how this can be fixed, it's exhausting and very frustrating.

Perhaps clearing the cache or data on the browsers?

The same thing happened to me and I literally just got it fixed about 2 minutes ago. My problem was a virus in my WiFi modem, as soon as I had my WiFi hooked up I started getting that xtrackapi thing and then took me to some porn site. I called my internet provider and they fixed it over the phone, they explained it as a virus that gets into the modem and turns off the firewall so he just had to turn back on the firewall. I hope this fixes your problem
