Need Android 4.4.2 uninstall instructons for S3

[AC Question]

I have Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 and did a system update to 4.4.2 yesterday 6/12/14. I lost internet connection and Virgin said there is no system problem and to change my mode from LTE4/CDMA to CDMA (aka 3G), because LTE4/CDMA function was no longer working. I also noticed after the update, my network name has changed from Virgin Mobile to Samsung. Virgin Mobile stated this problem is not on their end. Is there an issue with 4G with the 4.4.2 update? Can someone give step by step instructions on uninstalling the 4.4.2 update?

Welcome to the forums. To the best of my knowledge there is no issue with LTE, and 4.4.2. You might be able to flash your prior version of Android with a PC program called Odin. You would need to find the stock ROM files. Try sammobile .com for the file. Look for your exact model number.
I can provide a link in how to use Odin in a few minutes.

You can try either Samsung updates .com or sammobile .com. Look for your model number and region code. The region code might be on the box right behind the model number, or plugging the device into Kies should give you a region code in parenthesis...ex: (***)

Download the file and you can use Odin to flash it.

I have the AT&T Galaxy S3 and had the Mod Drive Link app that worked well with my Sony XAV-701HD HU. After the update to Kit Kat, Drive Link stopped working. Right after the update I got the error message "Unfortunately, Drive Link has stopped". The only opt is to close with OK if I try to start Drive Link manually, I get the same error message. Any help with rolling my GS# bac a version is greatly appreciated.
