iPhone 5 earphones not connecting to HTC One?

[AC Question]

So I have Apple iPhone 5 earphones, they have always worked perfectly fine and connected to my HTC One, and they still connect to my iPod and MacBook, but recently they have stopped connecting to my phone. It isn't the jack because my Beats earphones still connect to my phone.
Does anybody know what the problem might be and how I can fix it?? It is kind of urgent. Thank you
