My optimus slider won't connect to my computer! Help!

I've been trying to connect my phone to my computer, but no luck. The usb debugging option is unchecked and I have downloaded the driver from the site. Unfortunately, my phone still doesn't connect. All it does when i connect the usb is charge. Please help!

Have you tried a different cable?

Hello.

Check your cable and USB port as well. It might help to use USB 2.0 rather than 3.0.
