No media/system sounds HELP

No idea if I pressed a random button or something, but my phone somehow went to earphone mode. couldnt find how to turn it off, so i checked google. found something about turning Page Buddy off. I did and now i have ringtones and notification sounds but no media and system sounds. its driving me crazy. please help!
