Blue dots! On all my photos! Galaxy S3...

I have been seeing blue dots (always in the same place) in my pictures and on the viewfinder while talking the pictures for a few weeks now. They are there whether or not I use the flash, and the lens has no visible dirty or scratches. Anything I can do?

I have had it since February. I take lots of pictures. I would say it's had a lot of use! But in good condition. No cracks, etc.

Also, it's only in the forward-facing camera, not the selfie-cam!

Hmmm. I suppose you could go into the camera app and mess about uninstalling and re-installing and all that sort of thing but I doubt it would work. I fear that it may be sensor pixels failing. Did it start as a few dots, increasing in number with time?

Yes, it did. I noticed it awhile back, but there were only two specks. Now I have a half-dozen. Is this a common problem?

I'm not certain of my diagnosis but it does sound like an unfixable fault to me. Other members may know different.

Unfortunately, yes. They look exactly like that, only more numerous. Guess I'll have to go see my retailer. Thanks for the input.
