S5 Camera Enhancement and Default image location

Hi all,

Have a couple of questions:

1 - Camera - I tried playing around with the settings and the default settings output terrible photos. The worst photos are thos which are dark or at night..terrible quality. My Iphone 4 took better pics. Does anyone know what can be done to enhance the quality of images taken with an s5?

2 - When texting and attaching an image, it defaults to my phone folder. Anyone know how I can choose from my gallery instead or change the settings? Im not sure why theres two different desitnations for photos, can that be changed too. This is annoying me too, I can't figure out how to attach anything from the gallery.
