Phone screen won't shut off by itself when receiving a notifications

My phone screen will be off but when something triggers the screen to turn on, like a text notification or the notification that my phone is 100% charged, the screen stays lit. It used to just shut off after a bit but now it just stays on. I use GO Locker, is this a problem with them?

Yes, it seems like it. Switch back to the stock lock screen & see if the issue continues. If it doesn't its go locker
