is this possible?

can i take any rom, from any firmware and without matter the model of the tablet, and then with that rom, could i do a factory reset??

of course i will not try to install the firmware, only do the reset.

is that possible??

The only way this would be possible is if the firmware is if the tablet is a re-branded one, or to be clearer, the same tablet but under a different name.

A firmware is specifically made for a device, so there's no guarantee that it will work on something that it wasn't meant for.

With that being said, could you confirm that I understood this right?

this is the main points.

1.- first i don't ( NOT ) want install / flash a new firmware.

2.- i just want to do a factory reset. JUST and ONLY reset.

i perfectly understand i cannot install / flash firmware just like that.

example, the "black firmware" cannot be installed in a tablet with "white firmware", that point is obvious.
