Micro USB 2.0 port

I am looking at purchasing a samsung galaxy 4 10.1 tablet. The specs say that it has a micro USB 2.0 port. How is that different from a normal USB port? Will I still be able to connect it to appliances that have a normal USB cord like projectors?

Welcome to Android Central! MicroUSB is the same technology, but with a smaller plug. It's easy to find cables that fit a microUSB port on one end and a regular USB port on the other.
