Pairing my HTC to BMW 3 Series

Hey guys, so ive had a samsung note for the past 3 years, i JUST switched to HTC today, pretty happy so far EXCEPT it wont pair with my BMW. my bmw doesnt have idrive, but has bluetooth, and all my other phones worked fine. you turn on the bluetooth on car, then search for it on your phone and pair, but my HTC doesnt list my BMW . any suggestions?

When pairing Bluetooth devices in general, you have to make both 'visible' Did you do that for the BMW?
