How do I update my Samsung Galaxy S Mini to Android KitKat 4.4?

Hi to everyone. I bought this phone in Italy last year. It is currently running on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and I read that I could easily update it by going into the settings and clicking on "Software updates", but every time I try to do that it says that "This device has already the latest updates".
Is there a manual way to do the process or am I going to be stuck with Jelly Bean forever?

I posted the thread on guest by accident! My bad. Anyway, I forgot to mention that my phone is an S4 Mini. Are there any other options to update this device to KitKat?
