Samsung Galaxy Centura S738 troubles

[AC Question]

When I turn on my cell phone it opens up to dialing an emergency number. It will not let me go to anything or go anywhere on the phone. I rang my home number to see if it would leave but said it wasn't a emergency number so back to square one??? Help

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a screen lock enabled? Are you entering the correct PIN, password, or pattern to get past the lock screen? The emergency number dialing feature is prominently featured on the lock screen, so I wonder if you just keep touching that.
