swellng of batery

i have bought a new nexus 4 and if d batery is overcharged only once does the batery swell? if any measures for it plzz tel .

Welcome to Android Central! You really can't overcharge the battery in any modern device. Are you concerned because you left the phone on the charger for a long time? If nothing else is going on, then don't worry. Or have you actually noticed some kind of swelling in the body of the phone? Swelling of any battery is a bad sign, and batteries can fail prematurely.
