lost my phone

i was walking my dos this morning and she started running i came after her and i dropped my phone, I've been looking for it all this morning i can't find it, but also i never thought i could lost it so i didn't put all the tracking phone settings is it possible to still find my phone ?

Try Android Device manager anyway it's often on by default.
You don't say what phone it is, But Google's ADM is often set.

https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager with your gmail log in.

You can lock it if it locates it, and put a message and number on the screen if someone finds it

You can locate the phone unless you turned that function off, but you can't lock or wipe it unless you turned that function on. But finding it is good enough, I guess.
