Can't connect Samsung Galaxy S2 to PC

[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy s2 epic touch. It connected fine to my old PC but now I bought a new asus one and it wont connect. I have kies 2.6 downloaded and when I try to connect it keeps making a beeping noise, like its connected and disconnected in a second, over and over. The cable and android seem to be fine becuase they both work perfectly on my other computer. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? I am getting very frustrated.
