HTC Sync manager won't finish importing

Running OSC 10.9.4 and the newest sync manager and after the first time i installed it, every time it opens it says importing media at the bottom and never finishes, the app then freezes and has to be force closed, this happens both normally and if i have my HTC one connected, deleting and reinstalling only solves it for the original opening, that is it'll import media when i first open the app and, any subsequent openings will freeze, this happens with older versions of HTC Sync Manager also, but irregardless i require the newest version to add things onto my phone, any help is greatly appreciated
