What does Mount Storage before using the camera mean?

I can't use my camera due to it keeps saying mount storage before using the camera.

means if you are using a SD card to store photos you have to mount it through the settings menu first

I am getting the same message, but my SD card is already mounted. I can see my pictures in the gallery and my music showsin the player. But iI still get the message when trying to use camera. It won't take a picture do to this error. Any advise?

Well don't unmount the card because it will erase everything! I had the same thing with last persons reply..it etaded all picz and videos on card.

I had the same problem. What I did was use CM back up saved my info. Called zte they said to go to settings select apps scroll top of screen it will say SD card then run then all. Select all. Then scroll down to camera and select data ...press clear data. I restarted my phone.took a few hours but got all my info back. I hope this helps.
