My samsung galaxy s4 active isn't charging?

I've had my phone for around a year or two and haven't had a problem charging it today. I have tried different chargers and outlets but it still won't charge. I took out the battery to check if I got water in it but i don't see any signs of water damage.

It could be battery failure. Also, examine the phone USB port closely to make sure it is clean and apparently undamaged.
