Why has my mailbox stopped updating?

mailbox stopped updating

I have my email set to update every 15 minutes but all of a sudden this stopped and I have to update manually.. I checked all the settings and they are correct...any idea's??

If all the settings look to be correct then I'd suggest giving it a few hours. It could be a network problem with the servers. Also, consider removing the email then re-adding everything manually.

Removing email address then adding it back normally fix the issue..

I just tried that and it's still not updating my mailbox..any other suggestions would be appreciated ! I wish I could call them.

Who is your email provider? If it's gmail, manually sync it (in Settings/General/Accounts/Google) and see if you actually have any new email. If it's someone else, there's probably a help email address or website.

It's Comcast by default..the gmail is fine...I only have the Comcast account updating
