Why won't my Galaxy Pro 8.4 not recognize my S4?

The "nearby device" option is "on" for each device. My phone recognizes my tablet but the tablet doesn't recognize the phone. Am I missing another setting?

Update: FYI, I "forced" the tablet to recognize the phone by sending a photo to the tablet. It now recognizes the phone. Thanks.

Yes, it's still there thankfully.
