Unable to lock device - Nexus 7 and 5.01
This has got me baffled.
If either PIN or Password is set the device will not lock. Ever. Under any circumstances. It knows they are set and asks me for them in the right places in Settings, but the device itself is always unlocked. Touching the Lock icon on the wake-up screen says 'the device is manually locked .. blah' but the lock icon stays in the unlocked state.
Smart Lock on/off makes no difference.
So far so bad. The weird bit is ... Pattern works just fine. Behaves exactly as expected.
Obviously all of this was working fine with KitKat ....
Any ideas at all?
