Hello today i received my new S5 and i was wondering how do i transfer my contacts from my S3 to my new S5

Make sure before you do anything else that you have backed up everything to your Google account on the S3. Check that in Settings, Backup & Reset. Then when setting up your S5, your personal data such as contacts should download into the phone when you sign in to your Google account on it.
