Why does my music skip on Google Play music app and music player app that came installed on my S3 GTI9300?

music skips on google play music app and music player app that came installed on my S3 GTI9300.

I have restored my S3 to factory settings as described by Samsung. I emailed Samsung again to say that I still had the same problem and they asked me to return my S3 for repair. Are there any other 'fixes' that cure the problem or is it a repair job?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you playing music that's locally stored? Is it stored in Internal Storage or a microSD card?
