how do i fix the charging port in my phone? it broke and i dont know how to fix it

the port in my phone wont work i tried charging it but something in it is broken. How much do you think it would cost to fix it?

A SWAG(scientific wild a** guess) could be $25 to $75. Take it to a qualified technician at your carrier's (ATT, Tmo, etc.) dealer or company-owned authorized service center for troubleshooting and an accurate estimate. Or get a recommendation for an independent/franchise repair place. That part may be a component in a larger assembly.

I would try a different charger and or cable first. They do fail sometimes.

Someone else on the forum may be able to tell you about whether the X can be charged wirelessly.

Good luck and be aware that stretching a charging cable too far while your phone is connected can cause your charging port to fail.
