How do I turn the multi-window back on my S4?

S4, nephew turned something off...

no longer have multi-window available, background or app turned off? It is not displayed in settings anywhere...

Welcome to Android Central! See this article: How do I use Multi Window™ (Multitasking) Mode on Samsung Galaxy S® 4? : AT&T Cell Phones | Samsung. You should be able to reenable Multiwindow in the Quick Settings swipedown menu.

And I strongly recommend you avoid letting young kids play around with your phone. We see occasional posts here from people whose phones suddenly have a lockscreen with a PIN that they don't know, because their kid was playing around and set it up, either by accident or for fun, and then forgot the PIN. Use Kids Mode if you're going to let him play with it, or install a kid-friendly launcher like Kids Place.
