Galaxy S3 wont turn on after a factory reset through settings

I just got a galaxy s3 last night by the original owner, they didn't delete there personal information, so I did a factory reset, since then LED light wont turn on to show its taking a charge. The only way I can get it to do anything it to take out the battery, drain the excess power by pressing the power button,& replacing the battery. Instantly it vibrates once, and flashes to a black screen. In the upper left hand corner in blue it says Recovery Booting... after that it just shuts off
Please help

Maybe Factory Reset corrupted System data :) Or Factory Reset is unusable :) Is this phone rooted? If yes, then owner deleted factory reset data :-(

Return it to whoever you got it from, assuming that you bought it. If they opted for the carrier extended warranty then it should be covered by the carrier
