Galaxy Tab 12.2 screen on full blast once charged 100% - no matter the magnet cover?

[AC Question]

In the evening, i close my Galaxy Tab 12.2 with its magnetic cover and connect the charger. The screen goes off and everything proceeds as planned.

Later in the night, the device is full charged, THE SCREEN TURNS on and it STAYS ON afterwards no matter the cover being closed.

OFC, it irks me to deteriorate screen when device is not used.

Not even setting it to go to sleep when no eyes are watching helps.

Any clues as to what to do?

Try wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery mode.
