Audiobooks start automatically when phone rings/message received

Use Hoopla App to listen to audiobooks on my Samsung Galaxy4. The book will begin on its own when I receive a missed call/message left. It is awful to return to my desk at work to find the book playing or to be doing something else such as driving and the book begins playing in my purse. Any ideas to stop this from happening are very much appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central. You can try clearing the cache for the app. Go to Settings>apps>scroll down that app>click clear cache. See if that helps.
