how do I fix my S5 after lollipop update

My S5 battery drains quickly, the phone gets very hot and goes into cool down mode (sometimes stays there for hours even after I restart it), "contacts" closes all the time especially in mid text, and having more than one app go at a time makes the entire phone lag A LOT. Internet browsing is useless. Facebook, instagram, gallery... everything is useless. phone is only a few months old.

Go to Storage in Settings and clear the cache.

If that doesn't help (if everything isn't backed up off the phone, do it now), do a factory reset, then reinstall your apps and data and see what happens.

If that doesn't help, the phone is under warranty, so have it fixed or replaced.
