alarm issues!

[AC Question]

Alarm has no volume when phone on silent, which it must be at night in order to sleep without notifications waking me up.

I have also tried other alarm apps with the same result. Previous os automatically gave alarms sound even when phone on silent. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have, and which Android version? If it's Lollipop, set the phone to Priority Notifications only at night, and have the only priority notification be the alarm.
