lollipop update KILLED my nexus 7

[AC Question]

I have a nexus 7 that I purchased a year ago. I did the lollipop update last night and it worked fine. I went to use it today and it won't do anything. Nothing. I've tried holding down the power and down volume button. I've been reading for an hour on how to fix this issue. This tablet is very well taken care of and has NEVER had any issues until the update. Help!
