How do I transfer from internal memory items to the SD mini card storage card?

I went to open picture galary and got the message "There is not enough space (40 MB) in your device memory. Delete some files. I do not want to delete some files. I want to save them over to the mini SD card. How do I do this. The earlier Galaxy Infuze allowed this. The S4 doesn't seem to.

Thanks again for responding . I have ES FILE MGR. Not sure how to move the files to the SD CARD. Are you familiar with the process. Thanks

My understanding is that ES File Explorer should have the proper SD card permissions, but I don't have an S5 to test it out on. Hopefully someone else will chime in about it.
