Whenever I turn of my HP 10 completely, it reboots into system recovery. Here's a transcript of everything it says:

Android system recovery <3e>
exdroid4.4.2_r2-a31-v4.6
(Here it has options such as reboot system, etc)
E: Failed to mount cache
E: Invalid Argument
E: Can't Mount Cache
E: Error

Wtf is going on??

It's not possible to tell without having the device on the bench, but my guess would be a bad motherboard. You could try reflashing the ROM, but if it's under warranty, that would void it, so get an RMA from HP, or bring it back to the store you bought it from.

(If HP is up to form, you'll get a "no problem found" report, but the device will be working when you get it back. Evidently they don't like to admit that their devices can go bad. I've gotten that more than once with devices I knew were bad. [I spent years designing these things, so I kind of know when a DVD drive head is blown - and it doesn't fix itself - but when the laptop came back with a working DVD drive that didn't have the UV mark I put on mine ... well, draw your own conclusion.)
