Can the LG G2 "night shot" pics/vids be fixed with a software update?

I Really want to buy a LG G2. I heard that it is really good and I am on a budget (189.99). The thing is that I like to take pics. Especially at night since I go out a lot clubbing and such. Is the LG G2 good taking night shots with flash? Can the issue be resolved with a software update? And do you think LG will actually update this phone any further?
