Galaxy S5 grainy-looking front camera

I dont use my front camera much, but when i do it bugs me out because it looks weird to me. My galaxy S4 look WAY better but they both have 2.1mp. I've tried messing with some settings and changing stuff but it still looks grainy-looking. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry for the late reply but no, I could be in low light, in good lighting, or anywhere but the image comes out grainy-looking.
