How come the screen changes on my s6 when I put it down?

It seems that when I move the phone, put it down the screen changes and most of the time it goes to the mode where I can remove icons. Do I have a setting wrong or did I change a setting? Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central! What mode do you mean? You can always remove app shortcut icons from the homescreen by long-pressing any shortcut and dragging it to the Remove area.
