Is this an alternate texting app?

If so, you can go to application manager, go to "all" scroll down to the App and tap to open. Click on uninstall. If it can't be uninstalled, you should see an "uninstall updates" or a "disable". Disable if you can, if not, uninstall updates and then disable might show up and then click on disable.

Also if you aren't familiar, you might want to look at this thread. It seems it is a Verizon app and you can also have your texts available to you on all devices, including your computer. Seems some people ended up deciding it was something they wanted to use.

The thing that is annoying about messages + is that it won't let you unselect it. I chose the native texting application I had on my s4, but every time I open a messaging app I have to wrestle with messages +. Would you like to replace messages + with the message app? I looked on the settings menu where the apps are but there is no listing for messages +, so I don't know how to delete it (or if you can't uninstall it at least neuter it).
