What exactly are trusted certificates and how do I know which ones i should disable on blu dash 5.5?

While trying to unsubscribe to a service after the trial period ended i was told that IIn order to do that i had to go to my system settings, security, trusted credentials, and remove all of them then turn off my screen lock. However theres a very long list of certificates under the system tab and it only has the option to disable a certificate. I need to know what will happen when I disable them all and/or which I need to leave on and which are safe to disable.
