No mobile network avaiable

[AC Question]

I recently did the recommended OS update and now when I drop from the network (for ex. in my basement) it won't pick up the network again (for ex. upstairs). Have to power the phone down/up to get it to find the network again. Is there a setting that will have the phone connect to network when available? Model SCH-1545, Android 5.0.1, Kernel 3.4.0
