fix needed, black screen on call attempts

[AC Question]

Lgl34c model phone, when I place a call I get a black screen, touching the screen or power button doesnt bring back the screen so I cant access the dial pad or even hang up, call goes through, still have volume, holding power button does nothing I have to remove the battery and power back on. Other apps appear to work fine.

Welcome to Android Central! So the screen works until you place the call? But the phone isn't up to your ear when the screen goes black? It sounds like the proximity sensor might be blocked or faulty. Check to make sure nothing is obscuring it, like a dirty screen protector or an ill-fitting case. The sensor is usually right near the front-facing camera.
